After the clitoral hood reduction mild swelling, bruising with minimal discomfort will be felt. It is advised that after the surgery to take immense rest and try to avoid strenuous work. An ice pack will help to reduce the swelling. 

After two to three days one can get back to regular works. No irritation or protrusion will be experienced after the surgical procedure.
